Terms of Use & Service

Last updated: 16 June 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Autivate website and to your participation in Autivate sessions. Autivate is a trading name of Hypha Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 16444012), registered office The Granary Workshops, Long Dolver Drove, Soham, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB7 5UP. By using the site or booking a session you agree to these terms.

1. What Autivate is — and isn't

Autivate is an informal creative mentoring and maker space. It is not a healthcare, therapy, counselling, psychological, diagnostic, educational (SEN) or care service. Nothing we provide, and nothing on this website, is medical, clinical, therapeutic or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. We do not assess, diagnose or treat any condition.

2. Booking, sessions and pricing

3. Cancellation

We understand that energy levels and plans can change, so there is no penalty for cancelling. Please let us know as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else.

4. Safety and conduct

5. Liability

We take reasonable care to provide a safe, supervised environment. However, creative and making activities carry inherent risks, and you take part responsibly and sensibly.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under English law. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable, or for damage to your own belongings or projects except to the extent caused by our negligence. We strongly recommend you do not bring valuable items you cannot afford to risk.

6. Your own work

You own the intellectual property in the things you create. You're responsible for making sure your projects don't infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. We may, with your permission, photograph work or sessions for promotion; just let us know if you'd rather we didn't.

7. Website

We try to keep the site accurate and available but provide it "as is". We're not responsible for the content of external sites we link to. You may not misuse the site or its chat/enquiry features (for example by sending unlawful, abusive or spam content).

8. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
