Safeguarding Statement

Last updated: 16 June 2026

Autivate (Hypha Ltd) is committed to providing a safe, respectful environment for everyone who uses our space, including children and adults who may be vulnerable. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and we take it seriously.

If a child or adult is in immediate danger, call 999. To report a non-urgent concern about a child in Cambridgeshire, contact Cambridgeshire County Council's safeguarding hub; for an adult at risk, contact adult social care. You can also contact the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000.

Who we work with

Our sessions are designed for people aged 16 and over. We occasionally work with younger people where it's appropriate. Anyone under 18 must have the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian, and we agree arrangements with them before sessions begin.

How we keep people safe

Designated Safeguarding Lead

Autivate has a Designated Safeguarding Lead who is responsible for handling safeguarding concerns and liaising with external agencies. You can reach them at [email protected].

Raising a concern

If you're worried about the safety or wellbeing of yourself or someone else in connection with Autivate, please tell us as soon as possible by emailing [email protected] or speaking to the mentor. We will listen, take it seriously, and act. If your concern is about us, you can also raise it directly with the local authority safeguarding teams above.

This statement is a summary of our approach to safeguarding.
