Autivate (Hypha Ltd) is committed to providing a safe, respectful environment for everyone who uses our space, including children and adults who may be vulnerable. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and we take it seriously.

Who we work with

Our sessions are designed for people aged 16 and over. We occasionally work with younger people where it's appropriate. Anyone under 18 must have the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian, and we agree arrangements with them before sessions begin.

How we keep people safe

• We treat everyone with dignity and respect and listen to their wishes and feelings.
• For under-18s, we agree appropriate arrangements with a parent or guardian before sessions begin, and a parent or guardian is welcome to stay.
• We follow safe working practices and risk-assess the use of tools and equipment. If you'd like to know about the specific checks and measures we have in place for those working with children and vulnerable adults, please ask us.
• We hold only the personal information we need, and store it securely — see our Privacy Policy.
• We will share information with the relevant authorities where we believe someone is at risk of harm.

Designated Safeguarding Lead

Autivate has a Designated Safeguarding Lead who is responsible for handling safeguarding concerns and liaising with external agencies. You can reach them at [email protected].

Raising a concern

If you're worried about the safety or wellbeing of yourself or someone else in connection with Autivate, please tell us as soon as possible by emailing [email protected] or speaking to the mentor. We will listen, take it seriously, and act. If your concern is about us, you can also raise it directly with the local authority safeguarding teams above.
