Accessibility is central to what Autivate does. We're a neurodivergent-friendly space run by an autistic mentor, and we want both our studio and this website to work for as many people as possible.

Our studio

• Calm, sensory-considered environment with adjustable lighting and managed noise levels.
• Quiet space available for breaks.
• Sessions are 1-to-1 or in very small groups (maximum 3), at your own pace, with no time pressure.
• Communication your way — tell us how you prefer to communicate and we'll adapt.
• Stimming, special interests and neurodivergent communication styles are welcome.

If you have specific sensory or access needs, please tell us when you get in touch and we'll do our best to accommodate them.

This website

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA level as a target. Current features include:

• A light and dark theme you can switch with the button in the top corner.
• Plain language and a simple, consistent layout.
• Text that reflows and resizes, and a responsive layout for phones and tablets.
• Descriptive text for images and labelled form fields.

We know there's always more to do and we're continuing to improve. If something on the site is hard to use, please tell us.
