No formal diagnosis required. If you identify as neurodivergent, feel you might be autistic or have ADHD, or simply struggle in traditional learning environments, you're welcome. Self-identification is completely valid.
That's completely okay and understood. There's a quiet space available if you need to decompress, and you can leave at any time without explanation. No judgment, no questions asked. This is your space to feel safe.
Never. You can observe, ask questions, or just sit quietly if that's what you need. Many people spend their first session just getting comfortable with the space. There's zero pressure to do anything you're not ready for.
Absolutely not. Communication happens however feels comfortable for you. Many autistic people prefer to focus on activities rather than social interaction, and that's perfectly fine here.
That's the most common situation! The free intro session is perfect for exploring. We can talk about your interests - even if they seem unrelated to technology or crafts - and find connecting points. Many people discover new passions they never expected.
Not at all. Many neurodivergent people work differently - exploring, learning, then moving on to new interests. Projects can span multiple sessions, be left unfinished, or evolve into something completely different. The process is more important than completion.
Primarily 16+ teens and adults. Occasionally we work with younger people if they're particularly mature or motivated. The environment is designed more for older teens and adults who can work independently.
Yes, especially for the first visit. They can stay for as long as needed until you feel comfortable. Many people find they prefer to attend alone after getting familiar with the space.
Please let us know about any sensory sensitivities when you contact us. We can adjust lighting, manage noise levels, and work around most sensory needs. The space is designed to be sensory-friendly from the ground up.
None at all. We welcome complete beginners. Many people are surprised by what they can achieve when learning in the right environment. If you can use a computer or smartphone, you have all the tech skills needed to start.
We offer studio time in exchange for simple volunteer work - cleaning, organizing, or helping with basic tasks. No technical experience needed, just willingness to contribute to keeping the space running.
That's exactly what the free intro session is for. No commitment, no pressure. If the space doesn't feel right, that's completely fine. Not every environment works for every person, and finding the right fit is important.
