We keep cookies and tracking to a minimum. Autivate does not use advertising cookies, and we don't use analytics or social-media tracking pixels. The only storage we use is what's needed to make the site work and to remember your preferences.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
autivate_theme |
Browser storage (functional) | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. | Until you clear it |
autivate_chat_id |
Browser storage (functional) | A random ID so the help chat can show your conversation if you return. | Until you clear it |
autivate_cookie_notice_ack |
Browser storage (necessary) | Remembers that you've seen the cookie notice so we don't show it again. | Until you clear it |
Cloudflare cookies (e.g. __cf_bm, cf_clearance) |
Functional / security | Set by our security and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare, to keep the site secure and tell bots from humans. | Up to ~30 minutes / as set by Cloudflare |
The chat feature also sends the messages you type to us (see the Privacy Policy). The first three items above are stored only in your own browser and are not sent to us as cookies.
Because we only use strictly-necessary and functional storage, the site won't track you across other websites. You can clear or block this storage at any time in your browser settings — note that doing so will reset your theme choice and chat history. The Cloudflare cookies are required for the site to load securely.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data, or email [email protected].
